The tour, in words.
0:01 This is EzeHealth, the care home management platform with AVA, the AI nurse who never sleeps. Built and proven inside a working South African care home, it brings your residents, shifts, medication, staff chat and billing together in one secure record.
0:20 Every morning starts on the management dashboard. Look closer, and the instructions from management sit right at the top, pinned until they are resolved. Further down are today's handover, incidents, wounds, infections and restraints. Everything on one page.
0:38 Care is recorded where it happens. Carers carry AVA Forms on a tablet: twelve clinical forms, from vitals and fluid intake to continence, wounds and incidents. Nomsa has just helped Margaret with her morning care. She picks Margaret, opens the day care plan, and ticks off what she did: a shower, brushing teeth, help with dressing, and walking with her frame. Timestamped, signed with her name, and filed.
1:07 The second route is AVA Connect, the team chat on every carer's phone. Mention a resident, and the note lands in her cardex. A hash tag books stock to her account. An exclamation mark files an incident, an ampersand records a wound, and anyone can simply ask AVA.
1:28 Both routes end in one complete record for every resident. Here is Margaret, with her photo, and her allergy flagged in red. Let's open her daily forms. Every shift is there, form by form: this morning's care plan shows exactly what was done, and by whom. And the snapshot gives any new carer a one-minute picture of who she is.
1:51 EzeHealth runs on a twenty-four hour shift, from seven to seven. At a glance: vitals taken, fluids against the target, medication given, and whether each handover is done. Gertie is short on fluids, so she is marked in red.
2:10 Medication is managed by the registered nurse, and only she gives it. The doctor's six-monthly prescriptions are loaded as the master medication list, and every dose follows it strictly. When a prescription is due for renewal, a notification comes up, like Elsie's, with four days left. On the round, every dose is recorded as given, refused or held, with the time and the nurse's name. And at the end of the shift, she signs off physically, online, with her own signature.
2:45 The handover page then puts the whole shift on one sheet for the incoming team, with the last shift's critical alerts right at the top.
2:54 When a carer reports an incident, the nurse and the managing director know at once. The alert bell shows what is urgent. Open one, and it is already written up: what happened, in the carer's own words, and who was told.
3:10 Wounds are followed from the first report until they heal: the signs of infection at a glance, every dressing used, and the daily progress notes.
3:21 Every register the Department of Health's Norms and Standards expects is built in: incidents, restraints, wounds and pressure injuries, infection control, skin and functional assessments. The data is collected as care happens, and clinical management runs from the same record.
3:40 And your data is safe. Each care home has its own isolated database, hosted in South Africa, encrypted at rest and in transit, and backed up automatically. EzeHealth is POPIA compliant.
3:56 Billing pulls it all together: rent, level of care, incontinence products, wound supplies and extras, per resident and per month, with the invoices ready to send.
4:09 And when you need an answer, ask AVA. She reads the same records and replies in plain language: which residents need attention today, and exactly why.
4:21 That was EzeHealth with AVA. Less paperwork, safer care, and a home that runs on facts. See it live at ezehealth dot co dot za.
