Is AVA actually live, or is this a concept?
AVA is live and in daily use at Jura Care Village in George, Western Cape. It manages 30+ residents around the clock. Every feature on this page is running in production — not a prototype, not a mockup. We can show you the live system during a demo.
Does AVA work on mobile devices?
Yes. AVA Forms is designed for tablet use at the bedside. The management platform works on any device with a browser. AVA Connect is a mobile-first communication app. Carers use it on their phones during shifts.
Is our data safe? Where is it stored?
All data is stored on South African servers. We are fully POPIA compliant. Each client gets their own isolated database instance — your data is never mixed with another facility's. Encrypted at rest and in transit. Regular automated backups.
How long does implementation take?
Every installation is customised to the client's needs. We work with your team to configure forms, care plans, medication protocols, and workflows to match how your facility operates. Typical setup takes 2-4 weeks including training, but we move at your pace.
Does AVA support Afrikaans?
Yes. The AVA AI assistant understands and responds in both English and Afrikaans. Care notes, form submissions, and clinical queries can be entered in either language. The system was built in the Western Cape — Afrikaans support is native, not an afterthought.
What about ALMA — is it available now?
ALMA is currently in development. It will launch as an integrated kitchen management module within the EzeHealth platform, with the option to use it as a standalone product. Contact us if you'd like early access or to shape the feature set.
